There must be a set of visual ideas and senses existing inside me and which are expressed in many different forms and materials over time.
Small sculptures are complete in their own scale and studies for larger works.Many of these come from the idea of being ‘connected to the ground’ in form and texture/material. The ‘gesture’ across the top relates directly to work completed in1969.
