Water Gesture: Where Does the Moon Rise Painted wood and foam, 1 x 20 x 20′, 2012 Installed: Lake Placida, Elizabethtown College, 2012-2013  This sculpture in its water setting reflects the changing light of seasons, of dawn to evening and atmospherics from brilliant sun to heavy cloud. Proust wrote about a Monet painting:a day of thaw…the sun, the blue of the sky, the broken ice, and the moving water turning the river to a dazzling mirror.
